How to Apply

Fort Bend Christian Academy utilizes Ravenna, a web-based application service. To start the application process, visit the Ravenna website where you will create an account and complete a common profile. Once your account has been created with Ravenna, you will be directed to FBCA's admission application. Note: Ravenna's common profile is used to gather information for their system and is not part of FBCA's admission application. 

Before beginning your application, please read information about our Admissions Process (below) as well as download the Ravenna Guide. In Ravenna, you will be able to:
  • Submit the application for Admissions and $100 non-refundable application fee for each child you are applying for at FBCA.
  • Register for upcoming Admission Events and/or Campus Tours.
  • Complete the appropriate admissions testing for each child.
  • Request Transcripts & Recommendations
  • Upload any special documentation such as psychological testing, 504, IEP etc.

Rolling Admissions: Any applications received after January 15, 2024, will be considered after the first round of acceptances. Please note, that although the initial priority deadline to apply is January 15, Fort Bend Christian will continue to accept applications and students until all spaces are filled. We encourage you to begin the application process as soon as possible. As classes fill later this spring, we will notify you of the Wait Pool status by each grade level.

Lower School

  • PreK/Four - 1st Grade

    All PreK-4 applicants must be 4 years old by September 1, 2024. All Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by September 1, 2024.

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. (Admissions Priority Date is January 15, 2024.)
    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.


    As part of the admissions process, pre-kindergarten through first grade students will be required to complete two phases of admissions assessments, an Early Childhood Student Evaluation (ECSA) and Admissions Testing. Registration for both Assessments is in the Ravenna portal.

    • The Early Childhood Student Evaluation (ECSA) will take place during the school day (Monday - Friday) at FBCA and will be conducted while parents are being interviewed by our Lower School Administration. The ECSA will take approximately one hour to complete. 
    • The Admissions Testing will take place as a group on a Saturday morning for approximately two hours. A $50.00 testing fee will be assessed for each child at the time of registration for Admissions Testing.
    Pre-K - first grade applicants are required to complete both phases of testing.
  • Grades 2-4

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. (Admissions Priority Date is January 15, 2024).
    2. Submit one (1) Teacher Recommendation.
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two (2) years (if applicable). If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE.

    As part of the FBCA admissions process, testing is required for all second through fourth grade Lower School applicants.  Admissions Testing will take place on a Saturday morning for approximately two hours and families can register through the Ravenna portal. A $50.00 testing fee will be required for each child at the time of registration for Admissions Testing.

    Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Lower School Administration.

Middle School

  • Grades 5 - 8

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button. 
    2. Three recommendation forms must be completed: Math, English and Extracurricular. The Extracurricular recommendation form can come from a pastor, church leader, coach, employer, drama/theater director/instructor, teacher/coach, volunteer supervisor, etc. who can speak to your child’s life outside of the classroom and school. You also have the option to send each required recommendation form directly to the recommender via the MyFBCA parent portal. 
    3. Grades from the current school year and previous two years. If your school requires a transcript release form, please find it HERE. First semester of current grades must be submitted to the Office of Admissions before the file will be reviewed for a decision by FBCA.
    4. Applicants are required to submit scores from the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Applicants will register for the ISEE through www.iseetest.org. Fort Bend Christian Academy is a closed testing site. Alternatively, students may take this exam at Education Specialists, LLC, Prometric Test Centers, virtually from their home, or any school offered as a test site.

    Once all of the above items are submitted to FBCA, the Admissions Office will reach out to you about scheduling an interview with the Middle School Administration.

Upper School

  • Grades 9 - 12

    1. Submit an online application and $100.00 application fee by clicking on the ‘apply now’ button. 
    2. Three recommendation forms must be completed: Math, English and Extracurricular.
